Wheelchair Racing

 

Wheelchair racing is the racing of wheelchairs in track and road races. Wheelchair racing is open to athletes with any qualifying type of disability, amputees, spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy and partially sighted (when combined with another disability).


ROAR TVTV carries a wide variety of wheelchair racing including highlights from Summer Paralympics from years past and current practice matches for 2016.

Extreme Jousting

 

Being in a wheelchair doesn't stop athletes from playing any sport and jousting in no exception.

Extreme Jousting is one of the most riveting, suspensful spectator sports ever invented.

 

ROAR TV carries over 500 extreme jousting matches per year.

 

Deaflympics

 

Witness deaf athletes compete at an elite level in official Olympic event, the Deaflympics.

 

This once every four year event judo, cycling, taekwondo, swimming, wrestling, badminton, table tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, volleyball and football as well as a number of other competitive sports.

 

The next Deaflympics will be broadcast live from Sofia starting July 25th through August 5th's closing ceremony right here on ROAR TV.
